about 37,000 nailgun injuries a year, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [1]. nailgun injuries have risen about 200 percent since 1991, the CDC said. the CDC looked at who was getting injured, it became clear that the number of work-related nailgun injuries had stayed stable since 1998. it was consumer-related injuries that had soared. the popularity of DIY home improvement is causing America more casualties per year than 4 years in Iraq (24,314 wounded in action, [2]). one thing is for certain- just because you can buy it does not mean you know how to use it.
